Premium New Release Pinot Noir and Chardonnay

We are proud to announce the release of our 2021 Premium Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.

From an exciting vintage we feel we are finally getting a grasp on these wines.

An excellent year that required hard work in the vineyard to control disease pressure and canopy growth but the hard work paid off. A classic Yarra Valley growing season with a long and mild Summer with regular rainfall at the right time.

Built to drink now they will reward cellaring for 5 - 10 years.

The DENTON Chardonnay block sits on our North Eastern slope and sees the softest morning light. We use the Burgundy clones 95 and 96 for our premium chardonnay.

Picked on 18/2 at 11be. Cold settled in tank overnight, rough rack to 4 old puncheons, wild malo and wild ferment. 1 puncheon removed to be Denton Yellow.

The Denton ‘Close Planted’ Pinot Noir block sits at the very top of our North Eastern slope, and sees the softest morning light and is shielded from the hot afternoon sun. The planting density here is 1m x 1.5m and this high density spacing always gives us more power and concentration while maintaining the lightness and elegance of the vineyard.
